    Location preference for multifamily investments

    Location preference is a key factor in making investment decisions in real estate. The desirability of investing in multifamily real estate is more complicated as the confluence of demographics, economic growth and other factors influence the decision to purchase multifamily properties. Recent survey conducted by the Urban Institute in collaboration with PWC and input from industry groups and institutional investors provided the below graph.
